Since 1998, this program has been providing transitional housing and supportive services to homeless women who have left the Texas prison or jail system. The goal of Brigid's Hope is to reduce the number of women returning to the criminal justice system by giving the women we serve the tools they need to become self-sufficient and secure a safe and productive life. Brigid's Hope provides housing, education, life skills training, and vocational opportunities.

It is estimated that Brigid’s Hope will serve 14 unduplicated homeless women in 2010.
