The Beacon Day Center

The Beacon Day Center provides hot meals, private shower and lavatory facilities, laundry services, coordinated access to housing and information and referral services to Houston’s underserved and homeless population.

The Day Center opened in 2007, and since then, the program has seen tremendous growth. We now serve over 600 clients daily.

Coordinated Access to Housing, Information and Referral, Pastoral Care, and Counseling are integral aspects of The Beacon Day Center. These services help clients access the resources necessary to begin the journey towards self-sufficiency. Specialists assist clients with their needs and offer referrals to other supportive services to help them find their path off the streets.
